Cum invatam si cum predam? (Schimb de experienta) – incepand de Duminica, 6 martie, ora 18.00


Pentru a participa in mod activ la viata sociala, trebuie sa invatam cum sa ne imbracam fara ajutor, sa citim, sa scriem sau sa articulam nevoi. In multe societati, scoala si gradinita sunt vazute ca locuri ale educatiei.
Dar ce invatam la scoala si la gradinita cu adevarat? Sunt aceste locuri un mod de a forma gandirea sau sunt o formă de reproducere a ierarhiilor sociale? Cum se structureaza si se transmite cunoasterea in aceste medii? In functie de ce se definesc cunostintele ca fiind utile ? Ce tipuri de comportament ale copiilor si educatorilor sunt incurajate in aceste institutii?

Luând in calcul toate aceste intrebari, noi- persoane care lucram in sistemul educational – considerăm ca este importanta o privire mai de aproape la ceea ce facem si asupra modului in care ne desfasuram activitatile. Care sunt asteptarile cu care ne confruntam? Cum ne confruntam cu pretentiile la nivelul carora trebuie sa ne ridicam? Cum ne afecteaza slujba la un nivel personal?

Ne-ar placea sa purtam discutii deschise despre aceste intrebari si altele in timpul unor intalniri regulate cu persoane care lucreaza in domeniul educatiei, in cadrul carora sa abordam experientele noastre.

How do we learn and how do we teach?

To participate actively in social life everyone has to learn a lot – like putting clothes on without any help, to read, to write or to articulate personally needs. In many societies school and kindergarten are seen as places of education.

But what do we really learn in school and kindergarten? Are these places to gain knowledge or a places where social hierarchies are getting reproduced? How is knowledge stuctured and imparted there? How is useful knowledge in school and kindergarten defined? What kind of behaviour of children and teachers are these institutions encouraging and for which reasons?

Regarding these questions, we – people who are working in the educational field – consider it to be important to have a closer look at what we are doing and how. Which are the expectations we are confronted with? How do we deal with the pretensions we have to implement? How does that job affect us personally?

We would like to open a discussion about these and other questions and a regular exchange of experiences with other interested people working in educational field.

Our first meeting will take place on March 6th at 6 pm at the biblioteca alternativa.
